Help & input compatibility
- Device permissions: Morserino and WinKeyer rely on Web Serial. VBand relies on WebHID. If the browser blocks either API, choose Keyboard and continue.
- Unsupported browser: Chrome or Edge on desktop provide the cleanest Serial/HID support. If a device source stays unavailable, the page keeps the keyboard path alive instead of leaving a dead control.
- Audio policy: cue audio, AGN replay, and keyboard sidetone will not play until you press Enable Audio. That satisfies the browser activation requirement before any CW playback starts.
- Keyboard fallback: use Left Arrow for dits and Right Arrow for dahs. After a normal Morse gap the page decodes the character, and Space or Enter forces the current item boundary.
- Mouse and touch: tap the on-screen dit and dah paddles. No hardware is needed.
- Farnsworth timing: Char Speed controls the dits and dahs, while Spacing WPM controls the character and word gaps in keyboard mode and replay audio.
- Callsign mode: Plain only is the default. Slash calls are opt-in through the callsign difficulty filter, and the live screen adds an AGN / Replay Callsign button plus the A shortcut.
- Disconnect recovery: if a device drops during a run, the session pauses into a recoverable state. Reconnect the source or switch to Keyboard and resume.
